Responsibilities include planning, organizing, and administering the City’s human resource systems and services, including health benefits, employee safety, worker’s compensation, labor relations, employee relations and compliance with employment regulations and guidelines as dictated by federal, state, and municipal laws. This position also manages recruitment, selection, job classification and compensation plans, employee training and development.
The Human Resources Manager serves as the Civil Service Secretary/Chief Examiner for the Civil Service Commission, Commute Trip Reduction Coordinator, Wellness Coordinator and Title VI Coordinator.
